Stone Work

Sandstone & natural stone work on the Northern Beaches

Living on the Northern Beaches we're surrounded by beautiful Sydney sandstone. It's timeless, it suits the landscape, and for looks and durability you simply can't beat it.

Great stone work, made affordable

Quality stone work used to be something only the rich and famous could afford. We make it achievable for every Sydney home, from a small rustic garden wall to large-scale feature walls on houses and unit blocks.

We build sandstone retaining and garden walls, house and chimney cladding, letterbox pillars and entry piers, fireplaces, feature walls, steps and paving, dressing each piece on site so the joints are tight and the finish is right.

Local, recycled stone

Wherever possible we use local stone, quarried from the same property or nearby suburbs, so the colours match your surroundings and the environmental impact stays low.

Stone we remove during excavation and demolition is recycled: we store it until we can reuse it on the next project. Sandstone is already thousands of years old, and it will happily last a few thousand more.

Stone Work FAQs

What kind of stone work do you do?

Sandstone and natural stone walls, house and chimney cladding, feature walls, letterbox pillars, entry piers, fireplaces, steps and paving, from small garden walls to large commercial and multi-unit projects.

Can you reuse the sandstone already on my property?

Yes. Where the stone is sound we recycle rock from your own excavation or demolition. It matches your site perfectly, cuts material costs and keeps waste out of landfill.

How long does sandstone last?

Properly built and drained, sandstone walls and cladding last for generations. Sandstone weathers gracefully, and occasional cleaning and sealing keeps it looking its best.
