Joalah Road, Duffys Forest
A five-acre block of empty land transformed into a landscape that contrasts sandstone with its natural bushland surroundings.
Through the clients' vision we came up with a simple yet effective landscape design that shows off a beautiful contrast between stone and the natural surroundings.
The project started with a five-acre block of empty land. It's a one-of-a-kind home and we were honoured to be part of the development. Sandstone features throughout, from the entry to the large feature wall of the house, alongside sweeping lawns, a sandstone-paved pool terrace and predominantly native planting, including sculptural grass trees and fast-growing screening plants.
Just wanted you to know how pleased we are with the landscape at our home.
I think you have combined all of the elements really well to produce a garden that is both visually stunning but also very useable, and relatively low maintenance for an acreage property.
The plant choices are excellent, being predominantly native, and the screening plants are growing quickly and hiding the neighbours.
We get a lot of comments on the stonework, both at the entry to the property and the large feature wall of the house.
I would have no hesitation recommending you to anyone else.
