Street appeal is what your property looks like from the street, one of the first things that people are looking at is your driveway
It’s usually quite a large part of your front yard so many people choose to make a feature out of it, this can be achieved in many ways and it all come down to your imagination, some just like the basic concrete look or go for the stamped concrete which is where they put a stencil on top of wet concrete and throw a colorful oxide on top to give it a paved look but for a fraction of the price.
There are many colors and stencil sizes to choose from, the average driveway will be a minimum depth 100mm of reinforced concrete to insure no cracking and can handle heavy loads such as trucks ect.
Paving a driveway is another great option to consider slightly more work involved but a great finished product in the end, which only will be adding value to your property, the technique with this style of work is that you start with a reinforced concrete slab to the min depth of 100mm, then a layer of paving sand which is a course sand dug from a river bed, to the min depth of 30mm then your choice of paver and pattern in which you want it laid in, for a natural stone look, repeat the same process, but you would lay it on a wet mix of brickies sand and cement to insure a better bond with the slab to eliminate movement and cracking , other pathways will be needed to join the driveway to the front door these can be done in the same method to tie in with the landscape design.
